The Comrades began as one single roleplay: New Comrades, but, because we enjoyed the characters so much, a new chapter, Comrades Two, was created, continuing the story, allowing the characters to continue 'living', facing new challenges, meeting new people, and, basically, exisiting.  
Comrades 3, is in the works, as the second chapter draws to a close.  Most of the characters will appear in the third part, which will have an Oriental Setting, whereas the first was like Europe, and the second like the Middle-East
 
New Comrades had a set story, and that was of two kindgoms, one led by the evil Usurper King, and the other by the noble, rightful heir to the throne.  Battles were waged, loyalties divided, and the new comrades became something more, something we did not want to end.
 
Comrades Two begins directly after the last battle of New Comrades.  Some, but not all of the characters from the first travelled to Zamora, the Cross-Roads of the World.  The Princess Amaliyah, betrothed to the Maharaja of Zamora has been kidnapped by the demonic leader of the Cult of Set: Anubis.  With his evil influence upon the city, the Maharaja 's control crumbled, and plagues of poisonous serpents and other natural disastors forced the population into submission, and under his tyrant-rule.  The princess was freed, but the city was not. 
As this rp is still being played, Anubis has not been defeated, but the battle has only just begun.
 
Comrades Three takes place in the Far East.  the Quest for the Jade Dragon, an ancient, and powerful artifact lost long ago, has begun.  rumored to be able to give the possessor of the artifact virtual immortality, the relic has been sought after for centuries to no avail...but that was before the Comrades took an interest.

The Characters
 
Dylan- Captain of the Guard for the usurper king, but eventually one of the Prince's loyal supporters after following a former captive of the King's to the Prince.

Caira- half-angel, half-nymph, former prisoner of the King and in love with Dylan.  It's mutual. (n.c)
 
Aramis- long-time Mercenary, courageous and loyal, she aids the Prince completely, in the battles.  After the King is defeated, she arrives in Zamora, following the entrapped soul of her former lover Aron, encased in the blade of the Rune Sword. (n.c, 2)
 
Aron- Mercenary by trade, Artemis's former lover and close ally, he was imprisoned by Anubis in the Rune Blade he carried, taking the evil villian's place in the trap designed for him, in the runes. (n.c, 2)
 
Mouse- Artemis's companion in arms, and enigma.  He comes from the Far East, and possesses extraordinary gifts in fighting, and thanks to a blessing from a witch, some magical ability too. (n.c, 2)
 
Artemis- young mercenary that befriended Aramis long ago while training at the Academy when the battle-trained Aramis paid a visit.  Along with her two comrades from the Academy, she provides new blood to the Comrades fold. (2)
 
Jared- Artemis' best-friend, and strongest supporter, he arrives in Zamora just in time to help stop Anubis from destroying the city utterly.  unbeknownst to him until that moment, he was not human at all.  as the battle progresses, he realizes how much of a lie his life has been (for more info, check the Solder rp character bio for him.  he's one of my principal characters) (2,3)
 
Derek- Artemis' and Jared's often moody companion in arms, the big man follows Artemis to Zamora when she receives the message from Aramis requesting her aid.  he could hardly let his beloved out of his sight when she walked blindly into danger.  Trained with the best, just as Artemis herself and Jared had been, and having a bond of sorts with the Dragon Queen, Arzosah, he is a valuable ally. Anubis- evil as hell and of the mind to conquer the world, this insane villian must be stopped before he, and his cult destroy everything that is beautiful and pure in the world. (n.c, 2)
 
Xector- Captian of the prince of Zamora's Guard, he both grew up with, and helped train the Second son of the Royal Family, eventually becoming his personal guard.  Not entirely human, but closed- mouthed about both his origins, and his heritage, Xector is an imposing figure of a man, being very tall, very broad of shoulder.  he is an excellent fighter with any weapon he's yet run across, and he has some not quite human-like abilities beyond those of mere fighting skills (2,3)
 
Dresden- Born as a Prince of Zamora, and the seconf son to be precise, he was bestowed, by right of birth, the gift of Sight.  Unaccepting of the gift, he fights the visions ruthlessly, but they come still.  the only thing is, with the fighting, he usually forgets what he saw in the vision, and cannot use his talent to the best of its abilities, or for its intended use..
A born diplomat, Dresden is a smooth talker, but also, he's almost carelessly generous, giving gifts without hesitation, just because he can, and material wealth means little to him.  Trained by Xector in the art of sword play, he is skilled in battle. (2,3)
 
Hunter- Arising from stasis under the hot sands of the desert, he is summoned, unconciously by Jared to aid him in the battle against Anubis, whether he wanted to or not.  Having no choice, he is forced to protect Jared with his life, and risk everything to ensure his twin's survival...even if it means agreeing to be enslaved by a powerful entity.  (see The Soldier character sheet for more details) (2)
 
Angel- close friend and ally of Artemis and her companions, the Fairy-Knight agrees to aid them in the fight against Anubis. (2)
 
Lilith- ally of Angel's, Lilith, with her unique abilities, may be able to rid Xector and Dresden of their respective curses...but only if they all survive the battle against Anubis. (2)
 
Konatana Would-be theif, turned guide for the comrades through the unfamiliar region.
