Kay-Lin is a fantasy world of my own design.  It is also the original roleplay on Roleplaying World, and therefore the longest-running. 
On this page, you will learn more about the story and the planet, as well as the main characters currently playing.

Griffins, dragons, elves and faeries; all creatures of myth and legend roam free on Kay-Lin.  Trouble is, everything is fading.  the magic of the lands is dying out, and taking with it all the fantastical beasts of lore and song that have always inhabited it.
The infamous Star Book, the last relic of an ancient and forgotten race, the Star Children, is once more sought after by the Darkness.  With the Book in its possession, life on Kay-Lin is doomed. 
The only thing between the Darkness and the book is a small, and entirely oddly assorted group of adventurers on the quest to prevent it from gaining control.  The key to the Star Book lies within the heart of a six year-old human girl, Mara, with extraordinary gifts, and with a spirit as pure as an angel. 
Will you help protect her from the Darkness?

The Characters
 
Mara- 6 year old human child; the key to using the Star Book
Zar- Adult male Quake Wyvern; unofficial guardian of Mara, and capable of strong attack magics
Jazdia- Altarian Wyvern(water version of Quake), capable of teleportation and water manipulation
Aurora- Were-dragon, powerful mage capable of many useful spells, teleportation being one of them
Dormonga- henchman to the Darkness, shape-shifter
Darain- young elf with burgeoning magical abilities, and in possession of Silver Wolf's amulet
Silver Wolf- archangel of great power.  his spirit is tied into his medallion, which Darain was given after his death...but is he really dead?  I think not.
Piira- Griffin, and loyal ally to Alshandra foremost, and the others to a lesser extent.
Lynne- Half-Gryphon/Human half-breed
Alshandra- Female Quake Wyvern, often volatile, and doesnt get along well with Jazdia
